Cockeysville Middle School and the CMS PTA invite you to attend our free family event:  “1st Generation – Life After High School – Map to Success” – an evening of information, community building and resource sharing.

This is a first of its kind event at CMS! We have gathered resources to share with families who are 1st generation college bound/trade school bound families. The program includes a keynote speaker, a discussion panel and a community information fair.

The gym will be open so that school-aged children can play while parents/guardians attend the program and information fair. Of course, children may remain with parents through the evening if preferred, and middle school students are especially invited to attend the program with parents if they wish. The fresh food Heart Market of the Maryland Food Bank will be open and giving away fresh foods, and there will be doorprizes.

The event is free to all and all are welcome. Please let us know if you will join us!   We are offering interpretation services to those who would find them helpful, so we need to know which languages to request as well as have some idea of how many will be having dinner.

Snow date:  March 18th

HELP APPRECIATED!  Business sponsors, donations, and event volunteers appreciated!
